What to do & Bring on the Day

As a guest at a Tots & Bots Portrait Party you get to have the most fun!

Your host may ask you to bring a snack or beverage to share and will let you know what colour backdrop will be used for the party so you can dress appropriately and accessories your children to suit.

You will need to fill out a Portrait Party Guest Form when you arrive at the party and just have fun with your children and friends until your session is due.

On the day it is very important that your child/children are not scared or upset so it is a great idea to bring something from home that will calm your child if needed (a favourite toy etc...)

It is also your responsibility to ensure your child/children are looked after during the party and during their individual session you must remain in their direct sight, you will even be asked on occasion to assist the Photographer with the shoot and attract the attention and unique reactions from your child/children if needed... after all no-one can get better reactions from them then their own mummy or daddy...

There is a list below of a few things that you may like to bring on the day to get the best possible images from your portrait session in a style that you like....

·    Outfits to co-ordinate a whole family (all the same colour for example) this will ensure that no-one’s clothing in your photo will be clashing

·     A special outfit/costume for your child to wear, great for themed parties

·     A unique hat, beanie or decorative headpiece that your child can wear in their photos, this is a great idea if you have a little one with nothing on but the hat etc... so very cute...

·     A very special toy with lots of colours that will enhance the photo

·     Wings, tiaras, wands, vests, quilts, blankets, baskets etc... Jewellery, beads, and any other accessories you would like your child to wear in the shoot

·     Little chair/s, pots, old suitcases etc... any small item that will enhance your images

·     And anything else you can think of that will ensure that you get the photos you want from your shoot... all idea suggestions are welcome on the day...

Important Note: Please let your host know if you will not be able to make your scheduled session. Your host has put a lot of effort into your Portrait Party, please be courteous and ensure your invited to the next party!
